Please join us for an exciting, exclusive tour and demonstration of the Port of Los Angeles fire fighting boat and a specially prepared firefighter’s dinner on Saturday, May 28th.
Hosted by the Team 4276 Surf City Vikings, the FIRST Robotics team of Marina High School in Huntington Beach, CA, participants have a unique opportunity to ride through the Port of LA while exploring the engine room, control room, and equipment room of the largest and most powerful firefighting boat on the West Coast!
You will tour the fire station and experience the firefighting history of the Crew through personal stories. After the ride, firefighters will be cooking up a special dinner for all guests in the station kitchen.
100% of proceeds benefit the Marina Surf City Vikings, Team 4276, a high-school-aged student team learning valuable skills in engineering, business management, and teamwork through the design and build of life-sized robots. The team works side by side professional engineering mentors and competes in regional competitions. Your participation greatly supports this student team.
There will be a maximum of 20 participants to ensure a personalized experience, so please be sure to sign up quickly!
